Beaches of Puerto Vallarta:

Puerto Vallarta faces the west, boasting miles of uninterrupted Pacific coast! Sol y Luna is very well located in the northern-most area of the city, known in Spanish as "Zona Hotelera Norte", where many global brand hotels are located, making the area feel international, safe and furbished with restaurants, shops and other conveniences.

The sand here feels like soft powder, is a totally therapeutic experience to walk barefooted up and down the stretch of beach. You'll come across massage booth, offering an hour of deep-tissue oil massages for as little as 600 pesos (about US$30) depending on the season, tips being at your own discretion.

You'll also find water sports for rental such as jetskis and parasailing. There are food stalls offering coconut water and pulp, soft drinks, juices and others. Whereas those are normally fairly clean and well-managed, there are vendors walking the beach selling all sorts of items, from hats to handmade jewelry, and oftentimes oysters and other seafoods. We would advise to use caution when buying these as generally speaking seafood kept at room temperature or in a very hot ambient might be risky.
